Hi! I guess you want to know who I am? Well... I'm 20 years old, though I frequently get mistaken for older. I'm currently studying Russian in Nottingham and it's exactly where I want to be and what I want to be doing at the moment.

I love punk, ska, rock and some metal, and therefore dancing, gigs and rock clubs. I'm on the committee of my uni's rock society, which basically obliges me to party. My non-music-related hobbies include baking, cycling and studying languages. I love comedy, pretty much anything apart from really dark humour will elicit from me probably the spazziest giggle you've ever heard.

In this day and age we're meant to be identifiable by and described by our favourite things, so here goes:

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is probably my favourite book, and I indulge in the odd bit of Terry Pratchett, but I enjoy Chekhov, Pushkin and Gogol as well.

Film-wise I adore zombie films, anything Tim Burton does, action movies especially Jason Statham ones and Monty Python, but I'll watch pretty much anything recommended to me as long as it's not Saw, or anything like Saw.

I'm partial to the following TV Shows: The Big Bang Theory, Qi, Russell Howard's Good News, Never Mind The Buzzc----, Top Gear, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock The Week, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Skins (guilty pleasure) and Misfits. If Stephen Fry is in it, I'll watch it.

Ross Noble, Russell Howard, Bill Bailey, Michael McIntyre, Rhod Gilbert and I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue make me crack up laughing, but by all means that's not an exhaustive list, apparently I'm easily amused.

Food is fantastic and more than just fuel; I'm a big fan of Mediterranean cusine - Lebanese and Greek for example. Italian is always a safe bet too, but I'm not picky by any means. Very stereotypically for a girl I'm a bit of a chocolate connoisseur.
