Ok, so maybe I’m old enough to not give a damn what my parents think, but I still remember that first time I walked in with a tall tattooed, pierced, “punk” with a 12” blue Mohawk. All drunk and smelling like cigarettes and whiskey, man those were the best days…..
On the real side, I’m a 30ish year old female with broad spectrum of music, art, and literature. I have been involved in activism for years, and I believe in the power of human spirit. I’m a giver and not a user, I would give anything to anyone, as long as I didn’t get crossed. I was always the smart one of my “punk” friends. I was the one who thought that Anarchy was just another excuse for not wanting to do something about the moral injustice being served to Americans as a side dish with our mediocre school lunches. I was always the one with the voice. I’m very outspoken, ambitious and very much into debating about subjects that make most people cringe. I have no cuth, I say anything and everything I feel like at the time. Does it bite me in the ass? Of course it does at times, but that is why I have always stood by my personal convictions, and I don’t live my life based on how others view me.
I have lived and traveled and am still alive, something to which I think my parents and myself are both surprised at. I love live shows, loud crazy music, and getting drunk. Just not every day. I have a life and besides what is going on in my current days, I need something else, someone like me to do something fun with, get crazy or just do nothing comfortably.
