DAMAGE CASE ANNOUNCES STREET DATE FOR NEW ALBUM
Towards the tail end of 2005 Punk Core had a flux of signings and one of those signings happened to be the pride of the Dallas hardcore punk scene, DAMAGE CASE. It is now our distinguished pleasure to announce the street date for the full length album from DAMAGE CASE, titled Tyranny which will be dropping down on an unsuspecting public like a bomb raid at dawn on Tuesday August 29th 2006. Combining the raw energy of early melodic punk rock with the intensity of a more modern hardcore sound, DAMAGE CASE achieve a rare fusion that is heralded across genre-lines by punks, hardcore fans and metal heads alike.
With the release of their debut EP on Slab O Wax Records DAMAGE CASE sent bombastic shockwaves throughout the American punk landscape. Bringing to mind the varied influences of MOTORHEAD, the hardcore sensibilities of bands like BROKEN BONES and DR. KNOW and even hints of the melody of early SOCIALDISTORTION, DAMAGE CASE has been able to give the genre a much needed spark.
DAMAGE CASE is currently laying plans out for an American tour for early autumn 2006.
