Well I don't think people are complaining they are just asking a question to why isnt anyone arriving here. Then again Gothic is better than punk! Since we have a better scene world wide especially in Europe and not to mention bigger, and everyone is different.
You meet nice goths, satanic goths, then some rude ones but not allot, religious goths, funny goths, and metal head goths.
half of you "punks" seem rude and mean as hell on purpose. Show your real personality unless being like all the other punks is the only thing your good at doing. I never relized how swearing so much can make a person seem stupid and worst of all its no wonder why the UK punk scene died so fast and all the people went "chav."

I agree, alot of punks are @ssh*les, but I've met more cool " punks" than asswipes. the scene isn't dead, its being killed by people who go around saying that to make themselves loook like they know what they are talking about. Cities all over the world have thier own scenes that combine into it. They have bands, zines, labels, record stores, and most importantly, the kids.

after much thought ive decided i will tell you all afew things about the scene,

now kiddies let me sit you all down and tell you a story,

the PUNK scene is not dead, although since the late 90's it has however suffered a major blow, see once you start getting bands like good charlotte coming through with the kids saying that they are "HARDCORE PUNK" it kinda kills the scene as with any scene,

Punk isn't dead i do however believe that is is and has for some years now been changing, re-forming, NOFX and such bands just can't cut it anymore, every scene changes and it's just our time to change, eventually it will be a good thing howvere for now we sit and suffer for that one band who will make the changes necessary and get it right the first time round,

more and more bands are coming through the ranks however they arn't PUNK, they are the emo bands and the screamo bands, maybe this is the future of punk rock? when you think about it the emo's and the screamo's are like yin and yang they represent both sides of PUNK ROCK, so perhaps it is time for poeple to just pick a side?

now im not saying one way or another personally i hope i'm wrong about this,
