Ok, so I have UK/DK, Afro Punk, both --- Pistol's documentaries, and Punk's Not Dead. I should be getting Punk: Attitude and Vice Squad: Last Rockers in the mail soon.

The one I seem to be watching all the time is UK/DK, my favorite because of the awesome live performances and interviews with street punks of the era.

So, any thoughts or suggestions on other docs I should be checking out? I REALLY want The Decline of Western Civilization on DVD, but I hear it's still being worked on and probably won't be out for a while.

Discuss.

PS: Oh yeah, first post of 2009. Yeah, I know I can be a dork sometimes...

`Suburbia is not so much a documentary as a great movie with some live performances. Suburbia was also directed by the same person that did Decline so that hopefully helps some as well. Check it out has Vandals, TSOL, DI performances in it.

`UK'DK was a classic, so was Decline of the Western Civilization (when are they gonna put that on DVD). Another state of Mind is also good. It focuses on early Social D and Youth Brigade. The best recent one that is great is American Hardcore. The there was also another recent one , I think called Punk Rock The movie.
I also had an old one, forgot what it was called, it had interviews with Sid and Nancy in bed. Sid is nodding off, snoring and burning Nancy with a cig during the interview while she does her whiny B----ing. i think it had live footage of Sid bashing his bass on someone's head and Sham 69. Does anyone remember that one?
Good music DVDs arethe recent Subhumans live, Bad Brains live CBGB, Minor Threat live, b*tth*le Surfer- blind eyes see all. These are all must have DVDs. I dont remember all trghe exact titles though. Also, there is a s--- ton of Ramones documentaries that are good.
and there was an Australian movie that was pretty good called Dogs In Space which is hard to find.
