I am sick and tierd of little kids asking me to turn them punk. as i keep telling them you cant be turned into punk its impossible and they keep asking me who got me into punk . Erm Kids i didnt get some1 to get me into punk i went into it myself very slowly that i didnt know i was a punk till my mam pointed it out. it was like one day i felt like putting in a mohawk but for the past 6 yrs i've kept to the punk unlike most kids !!!!!!!
SO IF YOU HAVE ASKED SOMEONE TO GET YOU INTO PUNK YOU ARE SO A WANNABE !!!!!

What's the Best Show you've ever Seen? I'm from the States. I've partied with them all Back in the day. I was a Skin Head for 25 years, I love Life. I know what your talkin' about. I hate fresh Cuts. Been wearin' Docks for 25 yrs and havent had them bought for me, and just bought a pair the other day. Importrd from the UK. Cheers !

Depends what you class as a wanna-be really, doesn't it? There are those that say punk is supposed to be open minded, non-judgemental etc etc etc, so saying you hate wanna-bes is not very punk in that respect, surely making you a wanna-be yourself.
It's a bit of a grey area. I say don't worry about it, get on with our own lives and let others do as they wish aslong as they aren't harming anyone, care cares?

really now...punks not only the music it`s a life style u can`t turn someone into a punk...you just gotta have the feeling...u just gotta be you...i know how you feel many kids are telling me that they are punks couse of me...couse they liked my styll...my way...but screw it...i'm not like others and if i have a mohawk it's not because of the punk fashion it;s because it meens something to me...
and use to it...there are a lot of ----ing stupid idiot posers aroud us...just let them be...they`ll gonna find out who they are sooner or later

`I don't hate wannabes nearly as much as I do elitists. Makes kids with an ounce of self respect shy away from things because they refuse to kiss some douche bag's feet because their mohawk is bigger or they have more patches on their jacket.

`It's all whatever.
In my opinion everyone starts off as a wannabe until they learn that it's about more then pissing off your parents and being a rebel. Most people drop the whole punk lifestyle before they get to that point though.

`Punk isn't the way you f*cking dress, it isn't who the f*ck you hangout with, it's not about being f*cking cool. it's about who you are and you ether have it or you don't i guess. there are a lot of people out there that think to be a punk it means to dress like one. it's about you standing up for what you believe in, standing up for your rights, standing up and saying f*ck you to the people who try to change who you are. A person that dresses in normal stuff, dressed in nerdy clothing, dresses like a buisness man can be a punk, it's not about the way you dress. I don't view people as wannabes, or fakes. i honestly just don't give a f*ck about if someone wants to dress like punk or not, it doesn't effect my life and i have no saying in Who's a punk or not. I just have my views and they have theres.

Therefore I like this place." Moments later I watched a group of trustfund hipster spawn in $1000 pseudopunk outfits surround a homeless guy (who'd come in for handouts) and mock him to the point of tears. Yeah, none of those little snowflakes is punk.

So true man. So many people copyed me. But in a creepy emo way. And so many people don't even know the real meaning of punk anymore. `Depends. Am I a wannabee? Politically, I've been a punk for years. Musically, I started off liking more commercial punk stuff, like Offspring, and got more into punk over the years... recently discovered a huge love of ska punk and skacore...
Fashion wise, I'm really conservative. My ex was like though. Now my divorce is going through I want to start dressing the way I've always wanted to, but I've no idea where to buy clothes. People suggested I make some, but I've no idea how
One thing I do know, I won't be asking you for advice...
