Well, 86' if you count the dragging on of cover bands, and wanna' be punks who came onto the scene..
then we get the Gay L.A. Metal..
which blew.. "Oh my god, David lee roth is in spandex and wearing eyeliner, SO REBELIOUS, I HAD JUST CREAMED!"
Anyways, i just wanted to tell all of you little teenyboppers to shut the ---- up already.. Just because you listen to avenged sevenfold doesn't classify you as "HARDCORE"..

`it's funny that seem like someone who is stuck in the past, with all the 80's punk, yet you look to the current hollywood interpretation of Anarchy of the joker in the recent batman movie. Nice ----ing make Up @ssh*le . Reagan is Dead and there is still the struggle to improve society. so as long as there is a need for society to recognize the need for equality then Punk is not dead. ---- you and you anti social ways. Hate is easy spew but truth Is Punk!

`dude your just all about hate and if you really look into the punk subcultures of today then you will realize that punk now isn't really all about rebellion. Yes we still don't dress the way everyone else does, and we don't listen to the most like of music among the older generation. But its not about making people hate us or fear us anymore, that part is, as you say it, dead. But now its about just being original. Not everyone is angry at the world like you are, Actually a lot of us are happy with the world and do everything we can to make others around us happy. So really get the stick out of your --- and realize that punks of today are different in every way and not one punk is the same as the other...
