Old school, new school?

What is old school these days? 70's, 80's, 90's even? I like punk from every decade. What does that make me? First band I saw was the Damned in 1984. Last band I saw was Even in Blackouts a couple weeks a go. F that school s---. You are what you are. It's all good.

Jerrys kids is ----ing phenominal, Dead kennedys have been over played and over popularized, D.o.a. has a few good beer drinking songs, Zero boys have like one or two good ones..

i don't know dude, i can't buy into anything after 85'.. after that it's just pure dog s---, most of it sounds like two irishmen fighting over a bottle of whiskey..

i would prefer old school, cuz some the new s--- is to PUNK! PUNK! PUNK! PUNK! OI! OI! OI! ---- BACON! it gets old, my fav old school band S.O.D. they are ----ing rad as any other thrash band, they have that thrashjunkie-punklyrics thing goin.

I agree man, I mean, I wasn't alive in those days but, I would have ----ing KILLED to get to see The Germs, and Black Flag play live, would have killed. I don't give a s--- about what's considered old school or new school, I admit I listen to the new s---, no ----ing Avril Lavigne Punk Queen bull----, but I listen to Abney Park, Flogging Molly and the like. All good bands as well. It's the same ----ing thing, people want something to talk about, just like where punk started. Ever seen the movie SLC punk? There's a nice little monologue in there where the main character talks about who started punk, google it, I dare you.

As for what is considered punk WHO GIVES A FLYING ----. IT'S MUSIC, MUSIC PEOPLE.
